Surprise Weekend Trip

So six months ago Roger and I got married. It's crazy how fast it has gone by! We had planned to spend to do something little like dinner and studying for the rest of the weekend. Thursday Roger told me that I needed to pack my bags and get ready for a weekend in Bear Lake. Ekk! I was so excited. Also my brother Alex and his girlfriend Alicia came down on Saturday. It was so nice to relax and escape for a bit. Oh and it's my 22nd birthday on Tuesday and it was definitely a good b-day/anniversary present.

The Snow Is Melting!

SO the countdown is 20 days left until the semester is OVER. And we are so lucky because we get to go home to see our families! We are super excited. Rexburg is definitely a great place to live but I like we will always have a spot in our hearts for Oregon. Anyways, today after the cleaning and the laundry Roger and I went to take some pictures for my Color Photography class. I think they turned out cute. I got my workout today just be running to and from the camera to turn the self-timer on. Yup.

West Yellowstone

After an extremely busy week, a group of us decided that a weekend getaway to Yellowstone would be fantastic. We spent Sunday and Monday relaxing, watching movies, swimming and hot tubing, and exploring this cute little town. It was a blast! (Congrats to Ry & Yance that tied the knot Saturday! Can't wait to see pictures!)

Thanks for an amazing trip! Even if Janel got a cut on her forehead and my feet froze!

Valentine's Day

Yes, I know that some people hate this "excuse for a holiday" or "single awareness day" but I like celebrating it anyways. For me this holiday is a good excuse to let the people you love feel well... loved!

I want my husband to know that he is truly amazing and so good to me. He is without a doubt my best friend! Thank you for the breakfast in bed, the adorable candle light dinner and my flower! Thank you for making it the best Valentines day ever.

I just wanted to take this post to tell our friends and family that we love you. We are truly blessed! There is no way that we would be where we are without the much love and support we have. Thank you!

Back in the 83440!

It's back to school again. That lovely time of year. We are quite excited for our new place. It's literally across the street from campus which makes going to campus that much easier. We have been blessed with snow and SUNSHINE lately. Roger loves this time of year and i rather not bundle up everywhere I go but it is a beautiful place. So from the many requests of our parents....here is our new crib!

Thank goodness for so many awesome wedding presents that set us up with such a great beginning!

My parents donated a lot of furniture. Thank you Mom & Dad Dickson!

Hunting Trip

The boys get away for a luxury hunting trip at the Treo Ranch. Home cooked meals, fire places, hot tubing, and plenty to pheasants to hunt. They obviously had a blast. They shot over 30 birds. Guess i better learn how to cook them?!

Family is awesome. End of story. We are going to miss our families in Oregon!

It's Christmas time...

Put up the lights,

Get the tree,

Stir up the hot cocoa,

Turn on the holiday movies,

Snuggle in the covers,

Surround yourself with loved ones,

And enjoy the celebration of Christ's birth...

It really is the most wonderful time of the year!

We love our LIVE tree... one that we will plant at my parents house and be able to see it as our first-Christmas-together-tree. I think it's a pretty good idea.

Roger and I went with our family to get their Christmas tree.

We went to a nursery and got a live tree. I water it every day and though it's kind of a big Charlie Brown looking tree.... it's still cute.
